A torn-up roofline after a storm isn't a "get to it next week" problem, and we don't treat it like one — Roof Repair Smedway answers, scopes the damage, and dispatches a crew across Medina fast.
Nobody on our crew learned Roofing work from a training video. They learned it climbing real roofs in Medina, OH, in real weather, on jobs where a wrong call meant a callback.
We don't treat licensing as a formality — it's proof that the person on your roof knows what they're doing and that you're covered if anything goes sideways.
A roof repair that's "close enough" tends to fail again within a year, usually during the exact storm it was supposed to handle. We don't build that way.
Documentation on request, no exceptions.
A midnight call gets the same urgency as a noon call.
No invoice surprises once work is underway.
Faster arrivals because we're already close by.
A roof rarely just fails one day — it usually spends months quietly showing signs that get written off as cosmetic.
Homeowners in Medina often mention they'd noticed something off months before calling — a stain that seemed to fade, a shingle that looked slightly out of place after a storm.
Shingles shed their protective granules as they wear down, and a gutter full of grit is an early tell.
Shingles that curl at the edges have lost flexibility and are more likely to crack in the next windstorm.
Daylight visible through the attic roof boards means water has the same path in.
Stains grow slowly, which is exactly why they get ignored until they spread.
A slow leak or failing ventilation can quietly drive up cooling costs before you notice the leak itself.
Even a small missing section can let in enough water to rot decking in a single storm.
We split our work into specific service lanes because a wind-lifted shingle and a full system replacement need completely different crews and timelines.
Below is the full breakdown of what we cover in Medina, so you can see roughly where your situation fits before you even call.
Active leaks get priority dispatch — a temporary cover first, a proper repair as soon as the crew can get materials on-site.
Every homeowner gets walked through material options before a decision is made, not after.
Commercial roofs run different membrane systems entirely, and our crews are trained specifically on TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen.
A full tear-off strips the roof to the decking, replaces any damaged boards, and rebuilds with new underlayment and shingles to current code.
A proper inspection checks flashing, fasteners, ventilation, and granule wear before small issues become leaks.
If your roof has an architectural quirk, we scope it personally rather than forcing a standard fix.
Homeowners tell us the not-knowing is often worse than the repair itself, so we try to remove as much guesswork from the process as we can.
After-hours calls still reach a live line for anything time-sensitive.
You get a plain-language explanation, not just a number.
Every figure is documented in writing — nothing verbal, nothing vague.
Warranty paperwork is handed over the same day the job wraps.
If you've been burned by a roofing company before, these are the specific things we do differently, not just a promise that we're "better."
Being local means we're rarely the crew still driving in from somewhere else.
The number you approve in writing is the number on your final invoice, barring an approved scope change.
Our installers follow manufacturer spec on every underlayment overlap and fastener pattern, not general guesswork.
Every job includes a written labor warranty separate from the shingle manufacturer's coverage.
We've worked with enough local carriers to know what actually speeds up claim approval.
Our technicians explain their reasoning so you're deciding with full information.
Our guarantee covers our labor specifically: if the completed work doesn't match the agreed scope, we correct it at no extra cost.
No surprise line items appear after the fact; anything that changes the scope gets discussed with you directly.
We'd rather explain a guarantee in plain language upfront than have a homeowner discover the fine print later.
We stage crews across Medina, OH so a storm hitting one part of the region doesn't leave the rest of Medina waiting.
Because our crews already know Medina's layout, we rarely lose time to a wrong-turn delay that out-of-area companies deal with constantly.
Coverage decisions are based on actual drive time from the nearest staged crew, not a fixed distance line on a map.
